There are some women that need/want a boyfriend so much they will do whatever the man wants even if it means neglecting the child. You don't want one of those women. She has her plate full, I'm sure, with life (child, household, work/school, meal time, sickness, etc) so to enter into her life you need to fit into it not expect her to change to make you happy. Make it a point to include the child into your plans/dates, but have a date night w/o the child once in awhile so the bond between you guys grows strong.
