We're students, so we don't have much money, but we do go visit eachother every holiday we have. It's working out. This fall we're both moving to England so we can study together. He lives in Spain, I live in Norway. We met online, and actually the 3-4 months we talked before we met we didn't kiss or make out with others or anything. Now I trust him completely, and I have no reason not to. It IS possible, maybe rare, but possible. I’m in a long distance relationship built on trust and fidelity. It was easy to stay madly in love when the other person was mostly a fantasy and I only saw him 2x/year because that was all I could afford to travel. His friends tried to tell me but I wouldn't listen - I would have learned he was pretty much a commitment phobic jerk sooner, but then - suppose I was too, and the LD thing worked. Until it didn't.
