Any tips on how to keep dating a guy through college?
I hаνе bееn dating mу contemporary boyfriend fοr over a year аnd a half, аnd wе аrе both going tο colleges thіѕ year, different ones. Wе аrе οnlу аn hour apart, bυt I аm worried thаt wе wont bе аblе tο stay near аѕ close аѕ wе hаνе bееn, аnd thаt wе wіll јυѕt drift apart. Dοеѕ anyone hаνе аnу tips fοr hοw tο keep thіѕ frοm happening?
Hey honestly this will be an eye opener for him and you. Unfortunately a lot of public change once they hit college.
Not right in all hand baggage but you know there are a lot of pressures. Long distance can work but I reflect when college is added into the mix it’s even harder.
Try to communicate as much as doable. But also remember school should come first… with all that’s why you’re there. Don’t slack on your education over some drama with the dude or anyone else.
Make it a point to visit each other and spend time in each others new lives.
At the end of the day, we all know how college is. Even if you don’t want to declare to it, public do “Look” get stupid and public do cheat.
That’s why most public break off relationship ties before entering.
The most vital thing is trust. Not just you innocent him, but you innocent yourself to not do anything you’ll discontent.
I know what it’s like to go through with something like this. I know the sacrifice you’ll have to make.
Another thing is communication. It’s hard to like someone you barely see or talk to. But just reflect of it this way, the more time away from that person, the more you cherish every waking moment when you see them again.
